from the airport, Green Papaya is located on the hill overlooking
Patong Bay. We are just 5 minutes by motorcycle to the main
shopping centre in Patong, and less than 10 minutes to the beach.
Patong Beach is
a very central location on Phuket Island. You are fairly central
to all the other towns and tourist resorts, so it is convenient to
stay in Patong. Phuket Town is a 30 minute drive away, and Phi Phi
Island and other beautiful areas are easily accessible from here.
Patong itself is now almost back to normal after the Tsunami.
However the beach is now cleaner and quieter than before, and the
environment is somehow more pleasant here.
